With the people that i have been talking lately,which are always older than me,i have understood one thing....Being 50 years old is a difficult age. Difficult, may not be the right word but..
It is the time they reflect on their lives, and realize all the failures. Not necessarily the failures, but the fact that their life is now more than half way complete and they have so much more they want to do, and their family is older and don't NEED them as much, but they want them to need and they feel like they are intruding in their lifes by doing what they think is right, but may not be right for their families any more, and they feel like the time is running out and they won't be able to do everything they want. This is the time that you need somebody by your side ,the most. When you are my age,and a young parent like me,every night you go to sleep , you hope and pray that you made the right decisions for your kids,for example you made the right choice where to live,the right neighborhood,the right school,you talk to them the right way,you teach them the right things etc. We think of this every day.When you are 50 ,and your kids have their own life,you need somebody to convince you that YES you did your best in life,you did the right things with your kids and now is the time for YOU to think of you,to take good care of yourself and maybe making it a priority.I feel like people have changed so much,and they don't appreciate older people as they suposed to do anymore,for that matter I don't even know if we really appreciate anything that we have .... So sad...

Feeling a little homesick today .....

I am a big advocate on the importance of eduacation, and I really don't understand how a lot of young people who have so many opportunities just throw them away or postpone to a later time, due to "having fun". On the other hand, ironically, there are pictures like that...a very sad reality....Stories of struggling and literally walking on water should make you stop and reflect about the things you have, and can achieve, but that you simply overlook...So sad

I came back from school around 9:30 pm,and as I walk thru the door my daughter tells me she made a snack for me.She really did!
A snack with my favorite tea,cookies and fruits.Also a note saying'' Mom,please enjoy this snack I made for you .''
I am so touched that I can't stop crying.It's this small things or actions in life, that make it worth living and give you the strength and power to move forward.I have never felt that happy or blessed in my life!
